This is How You Apply
Becoming an EF Foundation host family or International Exchange Coordinator (IEC) has become even easier thanks to our new online application – The EF Foundation Online Paperwork Portal! All the required paperwork can be completed online. High Schools administrators can also complete a high school enrollment form for students enrolling at their school on The EF Foundation Online High School Enrollment Portal!
Host Family and new IEC Applicants
If you are interested in hosting an EF Foundation exchange student or becoming an IEC, the online application is a great way to start the application process. It is easy to get started, just click on the link below to create your account. You can choose to create an account as either a “Host Family” or “IEC Applicant”. If you are interested in both opportunities, just select the “IEC applicant”.
Once your application is submitted, a staff member will then get back to you within one business day. Apply to become a host family or new IEC now!
You may also choose to apply by downloading and completing a PDF version of our Host Family application or International Exchange Coordinator application to mail or fax to us toll free at 1- 877-992-1892.

High Schools
As a qualified high school administrator, you can now complete our high school enrollment form online! High school enrollment forms must be submitted for each student attending your school. Submitting the enrollments electronically allows your school to monitor student enrollment and retrieve the forms whenever you need them. Sign up or log in to your online paperwork account now!
Active IECS and RCs
As an active IEC or RC, you can submit much of the required paperwork (references and interview evaluations) for your host family and new IEC applicants online. You can also submit your own annual host family renewal application from your account. Log in to your Online Paperwork Portal account now!
