EF Exchange Corps Responsibilities

Contact Us to Learn More

EF Exchange Corps members are energetic representatives of exchange throughout the United States. To be considered, you should be:

  • Under the age of 25. (Student Ambassadors are high school students aged 14–18.)
  • Passionate about cultural exchange, preferably because of a study abroad or hosting experience, or interest in international affairs.
  • Great at PR, promotions or marketing.
  • Willing to undergo a background check if you are 18 or over. This is standard procedure for all volunteers participating in youth-oriented programs.
  • Ready to hit the streets and make some noise!

We’ll count on your local connections and outgoing nature to fulfill the duties of EF Exchange Corps members, including:

  • Getting the word out about the benefits of international student exchange.
  • Referring host families, coordinators and schools to EF Foundation.
  • Establishing contacts at community businesses, chambers of commerce, schools, churches, media outlets and volunteer organizations.
  • Promoting the program using posters, brochures and flyers provided by EF Foundation.
  • Submitting press releases, PSAs and media advisories provided by EF Foundation.
  • Suggesting opportunities for in-person promotional events for our students and coordinators.
  • Sending monthly updates to EF Foundation on your activities and referrals.
  • Student Ambassadors: Attending the Welcome Orientations in your area and helping out the exchange students at your school throughout the year.

As a member of the generation who understands the powerful impact of travel and cultural exchange, you can help make our program stronger in the United States. We can’t wait to hear from you!
